We might be heading to Phillipsburg Montanna the end of June for a family reuion and I was wondering what is out in that area to "be sure to see"? Won't have as much time to spend out there as we like, but hope to see or do something fun besides spending time with long lost relatives! lol

There is actually quite a bit to see, Jassy.
It was an old mining town located in a beautiful setting. They have
redone the town so it is attractive to tourists.
You will go by Georgetown Lake if you choose to go through
Anaconda to get there--over the Pintlars--and that's the
most scenic drive.

Here's something to look at, Jassy that should help you:

Interesting that they picked Philipsburg. It's only about 900 people...
usually the summers are beautiful, not much wind, and can be cooler
temperatures that are very enjoyable.

let me know when you will be heading that way...might find myself in deer lodge (which is on your way)....we could tour the old prison, the grant kohrs ranch and have a cup of coffee!! :D

Thanks for the idea's, I looked the area up and it does seem like it'll be a very pretty place to visit..so guess we'll have to decide if we are gonna make the trip or not...thanks again..
