wood weed thinning, Ponderosa and Junipers. Five Komatsu and in front a John Deer. They are up on the BLM that corners our place. Bet they walk thru my problem in a few days. My NRSC thinning project got Doge. Oh and no drones involved here. :)

I found some pellets called Pronone. Little aspirin size pellets. One pellet for every 3 feet of tree height. Cost a little over 10 cents per pellet. Worked great on my test plot. So I did a lot more. Then the fire came through and burned them all before my pellets had a chance to work. I do have a few junipers that the fire missed. I need to drag out some pellets and take a walk.

I had a contract to mulch,

I had a cost share to mulch 100 acres a year for 5 year, then renew for the next 5 years for the next 500 acres. but it got Doge last spring.

NRCS got hit hard by Doge, Lot of water, well and pipeline cost share got cut, along with fence and timber thinning.
Needed to have a signed contract. An agreement isn't binding for them, a contract is.
My fencers finished about a week after the government shut down happened. Once they opened up I took them all the paper work. They don't know how some they will be cutting checks. Sorry Mr fencer if you had been serious about getting it done you would have got paid back in September.
