Also the Fred Mueller catalog. These western stores were both located in Denver. I thought back then, boy if a person had a thousand dollars to buy what they liked out of these mail order businesses. At the time, a thousand dollars could outfit a guy with a saddle, packsaddle, blankets, bridles, Johnson halters, shotgun chaps with fringe, a bedroll tarp, hobbles, picket pin, and about everything necessary to ride off into the sunset.
