They are some Limousine bulls that Im going to look at next week,I need a heifer bull and one for a set of black cows,Im thinking these might work on a few Xbred black cows I have...............good luck

father in law tried a limosine bull one time..... never was a fence to keep the calves in.

Should have crossed them with some of those old Salers- he could have sold them as Steeplechasers

Nice bulls.
But I'm pretty sure I would not want them bred to our heifers,
and especially mixed breed ones. FWIW

Why don't you go straight black Angus on those heifers,
Haymaker? I think you'd like them better in the end.

Those are some terrific looking bulls.

Angus bulls would work........if I can find some priced right with some size, the ole geezer I usually buy bulls from is proud of his angus this year and I think they are thin boned and small framed, remember I dont finish cattle nor private treaty, except for a couple neighbors that are order buyers, and the sale barn, all want em to pound out, moderate framed cattle that are heavy boned/muscled with strong legs that can trail cows in rough country...........good luck

I understand, Haymaker. And I wouldn't question you at all breeding
these to mature cows.

But heifers? How much work do you want? And remember, live
calves pay the bills.

'Course I'm just looking at pictures you know, but these don't
look like heifer bulls to me.

Anyway, here's wishing you good luck if you buy them!!

I dont plan on keeping any heifers "IF" I bought theses bulls...........good luck

Haymaker,

You call this other ole fella a geizer how much older is he than you? Good looking bulls but I would really make sure they are easy calvers before you breed hiefers with them. But things are different in TX than they are up here where cows are usually in corrals and not out getting lots of exercise.

I can get you some decent priced bulls Haymaker, but you'd have to be on your best behavior.

They belong to a lady, and she has a husband with a big gun.

They are out by Cat Springs, (Columbus area).

What's the ladies name ? is she good lookin ?.............good luck

She's very pretty, and a very nice lady...that's why I said you have to be on your best behavior.

She has some bulls that should be coming 2 if I remember correctly. They will be mostly A.I calves maybe an Embryo from my best cow. I'll call her to see how many she has left, she had an offer to join in a sale with some other breeders.

Well let me know something,I figger she is around 150 miles from me,so not my first choice, but who knows ,might work, send me all the info including price/age & weight of her bulls, believe it or not the bulls I have posted here are out of good stock with fair EPD's the top bull will make a good heifer bull, but like I stated Im not looking for bulls to keep replacement heifers, more trouble than it's worth, and if you figger your labor, probably cheaper to purchase them,..............good luck

Say,faster horses,if I buy that beady eyed woolie headed Limi in the top picture you sure you aint gonna want to breed those pretty lil angus heifers of yours to him ?:D :D :D
Manitoba Rancher I am 59,the ole geezer is 83,another ole coot that I buy fertilizer from is 91 soon to be 92
Big Dummie ,I already got a reputation, dont need another.
.............good luck
PS gotta head to town, already late
