Here's that bareback horse slingshotting Shane over his head.

Ohh he's fine-they raise them kind of tough up here in the wasties lol. Are you guys going to St. Paul-Ty and I are staying at the Super 8 -Thursday and Friday then I guess were looking lol. Ty won over a $1,000 in Kerrobert that's his best rodeo ever.

Hoping to make St.Paul.....looks like if the weathers good the lake trips a go,I think its about 20 minutes out of St.Paul.You still have my cell number?We for sure won't be there until Friday

Better PM it to me again lol. Do you know if there's anything to freeze a bone bruise with-Ty's riding hand is pretty sore-he was making faces at football practice today lol.

Theres a topical pain killer works great but Dr. has to give it to him,pharmacy mixes the strength.Diclophenac.Son got hand stepped on by horse after a buck off,worked wonders. Other then that the cold-hot compress thing will help with swelling and Advil if he doesn't want to head to doc,but I think it would be worth the trip if hes hoping to ride good this weekend{pain free like}

Those pictures scare the BeJesus out of me.

My very best all-time friend was an up and coming rodeo clown back about 1972. On his way to his honeymoon destination, he stopped to work a rodeo to get some extra cash. He was the most natural athletically gifted person I had ever seen.

To make a long story short, he was defending a rider and was hit by a horn when the rider accidentally tripped him while the rider was getting up to run.

My friend, Buddy Martin, was paralyzed from the neck down and only lived about 6 more months.

Please be careful.

Wrecks Happen-it's the nature of every sport-Shane wasn't being foolhardy his horse just got a foot hung where it shouldn't of. Were as careful as they can be but sometimes in rodeo or any sport things just go bad. Sorry bout your friend but he got hurt doing what he loved to do not all can say that much.

After my own bone crushing a few years back I have no desire to be anything but a Fan in the Stands.Not being able to walk for 6 weeks was to long in my eye.A 1/2 inch in either direction I could be sitting here all day long.Hope the Good Lord keeps those boy's safe.
