We've had no appreciable moisture in 09 right here.

This old windmill has always had real good water.

i don't have any rain to spare, but i could sure send you some humidity if you want. maybe that will help stir up a thunder boomer for ya.

Well that's a crying shame, I hope it turns around for you. I feel guilty now about the 4/10 we got last night, even though I've never seen it so dry up here.

I will trade 1 or 2 weeks wet weather for dry hay weather. You need to do the weather swap.

I'll trade 10 days of 70 f low humidity with a slight breeze for 3 days of slow rain. That should leave you some more to trade elsewhere. Too bad we couldn't do that, it would be a real good bidding war. :!:

Everyone on here has tried running to the barn naked to make it rain.
Ask Kola. IT WORKS!!

Try it. Let us know when it starts raining!!

As dry as it is there are still many mosquitoes looking for fresh blood.

Sorry to hear you're missing out on the rains :? . Nothing is more frustrating than hoping for a shower, and watching it go on by. Hope you get some much needed relief soon!

Sure could use some rain here..Got a little teaser during the night..Enough that the grass was wet this morning- and you could see spots on the hoods of the outfits- but not enough to make mud...

I was looking at the 15 day forecast- and they are predicting cool (for July) and possibly moisture for the first two weeks of July (right during the middle of haying  ).....

I was talking to a rancher/wheat farmer the other day comparing moisture/grass/crops- and he said he wasn't going to start worrying yet- as this whole year has been one month behind- both in temperatures and in snow/rain- and if the pattern holds we should get our normal June moisture in July...

I hope he is right...

Today the wind blew hard all day from the west and still got a rain shower at 4:30. Haven't baled any alfalfa yet that didn't get washed off at least twice.
