I just got the news that a neighboring cowboy has turned his attentions to a Vegan woman. He even gave her a dogie calf to raise .... for WHAT ... a big pet?

What do y'all think..........would you date/marry a Vegan.....

Sure would ( if he's got plenty of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$    )

If you really care about someone one, what they eat or don't eat should be WAY down on the list.

Edited for Mike: What they consume to sustain their life should be way down on the list.

I wouldn't marry one (were I be unfortunate as to have to marry again), but if all other meat supplies were exhausted, I might decide to eat one!
VEGANS BEWARE!

Yeah no i wouldnt marry one, have to cook 2 different meals, the cost of veggies, would make you go broke, why buy expensive veggies for your hubby/wifey when you can eat your own meat for alot less?

Be warned. I hear that they are very low in protien due to the intake of too much fiber.

Oh, I wouldn't mind dating or even marrying one if they weren't the preachy type.. I have run into preachy ones and ones that have made it a personal decision and don't go on and on about it.. As far as seperate meals, not to hard, have done it before because of my daughters intolerance to dairy products and you jus get good at cooking stuff and than adding the meat/dairy to the meal either as a side, or after you pull those things off...

Now, a militant one would be impossible to deal with but I would probably dislike their personality so much I wouldn't touch them anyways..

This is some sort of sick joke right :) I can just imagine what would happen when I dove into my still mooing steak! I like my steaks bleeding so it might just be embarassing when my date passes out

I guess it is what you are used to.. I had friends who were vegetarians in high school and college and have some inlaws (Wife's cousins) who are vegans.. Worked for one too once.. One of my wife's oldest friend's mom is is a vegetarian and is great about it.. doesn't say a word to her kids or husband about it, still cooks meat for them and even supports what we do.. Heck, she is even pro-hunting but she just won't eat meat...

I know both types of vegans. One of my dear friends in a vegan, but not by choice, she was one of the people that got poisoned in the jack-in-the-box thingy. She can no longer process meats of any kind. Selina practically sits on my knee when I eat meat she loves the smell of it. But I worked with a preachy, peta vegan and lets just say we got into a few heated discussions about my choice to eat meat.

First of all don't date someone you wouldn't want to marry.
Then, since there are so many people to choose from, why pick one with a problem? Marriage is enough of a challenge.

Yep-- Kind of like the Bernard Shaw story:

" He was at a party once and he told this woman that everyone would agree to do anything for money, if the price was high enough. `Surely not, she said.' `Oh yes,' he said. `Well, I wouldn't,' she said. `Oh yes you would,' he said. `For instance,' he said, `would you sleep with me for... for a million $ ?' `Well,' she said, `maybe for a million I would, yes.' `Would you do it for ten $ ?' said Bernard Shaw. `Certainly not!' said the woman `What do you take me for? A prostitute?' `We've established that already,' said Bernard Shaw. `We're just trying to fix your price now!' "

Can your friend handle seafoods/fish, clear meats like that? I can handle seafoods to a degree but I can't handle (red/bloody) meats anymore......
