Wish I could take credit for him.

I agree and think he is a dandy. I plan to use him AI. I just posted the picture to get some feedback from others.

He is a son of the 20J bull.

He is owned by Big Gully Farms in Canada. I don't know much about them.

From a phenotype standpoint, I find him pretty close to my ideal. The closest I have found in an AI bull to date.

Makes it nice when a respected Red Angus guy admires him as well.
 
I seen 47R last summer and he is every bit as stout & thick as his picture shows;will really thump the scales down.. As far as frame I would class him as medium for a Canadian Horned bull........definately big enough; he moves out well and is a very impressive bull. The PDHR herd has a reputation as a very good maternal herd & any that I have seen are good uddered with milking ability.
