Wow...Old School breeding, LOL

I had a Hard Twist gelding who was exactly the same way. He was a bronc though and put me out of commision for about 10 weeks. If you could get him past that he was a dream to ride. I have 3 younger children and lots of horses to take care of so I passed him on, though I still miss him.

if you start those tougher kind of horses out right and don't pick fights with them they make the better using kind of horses

I totally agree with that........every one that I've had took longer to get where ya wanted them to be, but once there, they were as honest as yall could ask for....all heart & try! (thrown in with an occassional "snort")

Been around too much to believe what a set of registration papers say too closely. Plenty of hoss jockeys with 3 horses in the trailer and 100 sets of registration papers, pick out a set that fits. You are buying the merchandise, not the story.

Show me a pretty fair horse, and I'll show you a pretty fair pedigree AND mama.

If he can't catch a calf, he ain't worth ownin'.
