Carter wrestled at Gering last friday night. He had one match with a kid from Gering and won.... He was a little sluggish at first but come out victoriously....
Saturday he wrestled at Scottsbluff at a huge tournement. I think there was 14 teams there. He was seated #3 and got a bye to the simi finals and wrestled a kid from Torrington and had him pinned, but the ref didn't call it and so he lost by one point. Tough break, but that happens. The ref did apolize to Carter and his coach for the mishap.
Carter then wrestled back and won third place..... Did an awesome job and is improving every match.. One thing with wrestling back he did improve his record for districts. We know that the Essey kid from Alliance who did win first would of won aginst Carter, but Carter wanted another crack at him....
We go to Ainsworth thursday night and he will have the Ford kid that he went into overtime with at Gordon, Then Saturday we will be at the Elkhorn invite where we will see some eastern kids and maybe Omaha Skutt........ Wish us luck we are the little train that could... We only had 6 weights filled at Scottsbluff and pulled out a 5th place win for the team......
