I thought the Bears were screwed first, when they gave up the touchdown at the end of the firt half. They had all the momentum and than to give it back.. Than to see the Saints with the ball and trailing 16-14 was a bit... troublesome.. But the D stepped it up and the Offense played better (Great field position helped there).. Grossman had an okay game.. Bad first half but good second half. Didn't take a sack and didn't throw a pick...Was Imprssed by the Bears run defense and pass rush... Looked like the first few games of the season.. Still think they play to soft in coverage sometimes, too many short, easy pases.


Breese Looked.. eh.. Good except for the beating he took. Man they got on him... Actually, all the QB's today seemed to have a bad few plays. Manning was god awful for the first half of the Colts game.. How the Pats gave up a 21-3 lead, while driving with the ball mind you, is beyond me. Tale to two halves, they just couldn't stop the colts in the second half.. I think a bit of the Patriot Mstique died tonight with them giving up the drive at the end of regulation and coughing up the huge lead... I am so thankful that the Colts picked Brady off because if they had driven in and scored to win than Brady would be Elway, Montana and Unitis all rolled into one and Bellichek would be nominated by some party to become president of the World.....

I quit watching that second game when it was 21-3- figured the Colts were done...Turned over and watched the PBR-- turned back just in time to see the Colts take the lead :shock:

Will be a good Superbowl if they both play up to par....
 
I watched both games... Really liked the bears game.. I liked the defense working to strip the ball and special teams was really good.. Bears qb will cost the bears the superbowl...He doesn't have the talent the rest of the team has.

Brady never smiled. Looked like he was constipated the whole time... I wasn't impress with the pats at all.. And I'm not a colt fan, but better than the pats.......
 
Oh, Rex has plenty of talent... He is an enigma at times but he has plenty of talent. Most games by any QB this year with 100+ QB rating... Of course, most by any QB with sub 30 rating as well.. He will drive you nuts but he seems to have prepared well for all but the packers game since the Viking game that he royally stunk up... As long as the coaches prepare him well and don't get too nutty on play calling he will be fine... If they can get Benson and Jones to combine for just shy of 200 yards they will be more than fine.


If you want to look at lack of talent look at the receivers on the Bears. not a lot of talent there.. A real bad CB on the Saints made Berrien look awfully good but past him and Moose they just don't get the seperation they need.

This team will live and die by what the defense does.. If they get pressure on Manning like they did on Breese, if they can stop the run like they did against the Saints than they win the game.. If they play like they did in the last 4 weeks of the season after Harris was hurt than the loose.
