The Ridgway Hills loom in the distance across the newly baled hayfield.

The South Grand River lays between the hayfield and the distant hills.

If you look carefully, you'll see a couple of the many predator birds on two of these bales.
Both hawks and eagles swarmed all over the sky above the mowers, rakes and balers.
Haying makes for good hunting of moles, mice, snakes and rabbits, which is fine with us because it keeps them away from our sheep.
