Thanks - just got home from the Creek - blowing the bulls off. I didn't even mind at least the stuff in the air was brown and not white

The http://www.agrimart.ca/cowtown/ website does work. That is how we watched our replacement heifers sell today. With the stormy weather this morning - chores took longer and we weren't able to get there in time.

Not sure if I get extra sleep or not - Don came home to heat check and AI - just watch there will be a dozen to do in the morning :shock: Oh - and somebody fell in the sheet tonight - there is a very muddy pair of pants laying on the porch floor Sure hope he didn't cripple a horse .... (just kidding but I would have liked to have been there when he floundered his way to his feet - bet the air was blue)

Here's to springtime in Canada, -15 with an east wind. 2 calves warming by the heater in the basement. I guess they are paying for it so they can live in it.

gcreekrch - I won't complain to loudly! Our -5 is a long way from your -15, especially with a wind!! We're treating the odd calf out of the registered herd with bigger problems in the commercial herd; muddy teats and chilled newbies ..... hope your little boogers made it.
