Before you say it, I'll say it first.

LSU is NOT the best college team in the nation.

LSU won last night by sheer natural talent and ability. Plus they got all the breaks (except for the INT at the end), penalites, dropped passes, etc. by OS etc.

LSU is the poorest coached team in America on both sides of the ball.

Wonder how the Arkansas team that got embarrassed by Missouri beat them? Poor coaching..............

Michigan was spared when they didn't get Miles for a head coach and Nebraska will be sorry in a few years with their decision.

To see a team with that much talent underachieve so badly is an abomination.

GEORGIA is by far the best college team in the nation.

come on Mike, Bozo Pelini just won his last National title......let him bask in the glory for a spell

I'm not stopping him from trying to build a resume, but I saw the truth last night and have been watching it all year.

Miles and Pelini both are Bozos. Miles especially. They just happen to have more talent than any other school by a long shot.

They should have never lost those 2 games and barely squeak by on so many more.

Georgia would have put Ohio State away in the 1st quarter. With less skilled players.

Whaaaaaaaaa, Whaaaaaaaaaaa Cry me a river guys........ :D :D A win is a win....... So the other team didn't play well..... Give it a break....... :gag: He won, done deal, quit your pi**ing and moaning. At least we know what it's like to win a championship........ :D :D
And we'll have a winning season in no time......... :P :D

And we'll have a winning season in no time.........

That's what your expectations are? To have a "WINNING SEASON"?

In that case, you might be satisfied with Pelini!!!!!!

Geeze, Mike, you seem to think Ohio St. was a team of Div. 2 rejects. They're recruiting all over the country same as everybody else.

I like the halftime interview of a former OSU player and that clown in the Bob Marley rug; When asked about the SEC speed, he replied, "I think you got that answer the second or third play of the game" - when none of those LSU boys could catch the OSU half back.

If a team has the success LSU has had with terrible coaching, they must play in some terribly over-rated conference.

Did you happen to notice the defensive alignment on that touchdown?
Thanks.
You made a point for me.

SEC went 7-2 in the bowls. One of those teams that lost beat LSU and the other came within a gnats patooty.

Ohio State DOES have 2'nd tier talent. It was obvious last night.

Did you happen to notice that defensive allignment where the safety came flying thru a hole YOU could fit sideways in, knocked the QB back 5 yards on his rear and forced an interception?

OK, so you're all mediocre in that conf. :P You only blew out one team - Hawaii - and everybody and their dog saw that one coming. The rest of the games were one fumble, sack, int. etc... from being losses. Ohio St. gave LSU that game with poor tackling and those 5 personal fouls. Take away the bone-heads, and LSU had a hard time moving the ball against that 2nd tier talent.

I remember how NU wasn't supposed to have a chance against Spurrier's Fun-n-Gun - turns out Florida didn't stand a chance against a team that actually played football instead of "catch". Then there was the game where the SEC's "Mr. Everything" Peyton Manning was going to pick us apart like he did the rest of the SEC - the only picking he did was pick turf out of his face mask! All the writers were blowing the same SEC baloney around that we're hearing now. Both games against the SEC champs were blowouts and secured the big trophy for NU.

I'm not convinced, man. Too much grey in my beard to believe everything I hear.

You're talking up an SEC team that just won a national chamionship and I'm talking it down. Quite a switch huh?

You still haven't convinced me how good they are to manage to get beat by a team that folded like a cheap accordian to Missouri and another world class team like Kentucky.

LSU is pretty good allright according to Big 12 standards but not by coaching..............in spite of.......................

It's college football - things happen. How else do you explain things like Michigan not being able to beat a Div. 2 team at home, but then beating Florida?

First, the early success enjoyed by OSU was the gift of overpursuit by the LSU defense. Good coaching remedied the overpursuit problem.

OSu has as much bigtime talent as anyone, but LSU has the advantage of playing most of their games against top talent. If OSU played LSU again, OSU would be more competitive by being acclimated to better, faster, stronger opposition.
