    Finally pulled the trigger

Nice setup and herd! What a contrast. Your showing snow on the ground and I sitting here in shorts and t shirt sipping a Pino noir and cranberry juice to cool off.

    McDonald's cuts Angus burgersfrom menu

:lol2:  I wouldn't attempt to argue against your point! But, the same holds for CAB steaks as well. Don't get me wrong, good stuff but not really any better than many others at the meat market in terms of flavor and tenderness. They have an excellent marketing program and I have taken...

    McDonald's cuts Angus burgersfrom menu

You said it all Silver. It's just one fantastic marketing scheme. The whole thing is very clear right on the label. Certified Angus Beef BRAND. "Brand" is the key word. The difference between a McD's regular hamburger patty and a CAB patty is very slight. Certainln not enough to pay a...

I agree! Should add to that "no more hawking of party lines". Onward! May 22 1541 In Germany, the Ratisbon (Regensburg) Conference ended, its mission to reunify the Catholic Church having failed. From this time on, the Protestant movement became permanent. 1740 English revivalist George...

    backup generator for solar well?

I have the same cable for my Grundfos control box. Any vendor that sells their products can get it for you if they don't already have it in stock. I used a 4000 watt generator and it ran fine but I would for sure get the specs on the pump and work the math suggested before buying a generator.

Actually, the Catholic party also uses the word "works". So, it isn't as I call it. But, that's interesting. 40 years before... . Naw, this was being taught long before that to the believers and long before the denominations took over. What scriptures does Catholicism base it on?

Popes? You really want to talk about your popes? :D You keep your pope, Jesus is my king. And most of know they are not one and the same. Yes, it's the official teaching of Catholicism. Don't turn your back on the Bible, it's not worth it. Tell me TB, since your teaching Catholicism...

That's real cute TB. "I haven't posted anything that." Followed by: "sin of the separation". This quote is not so much biblical as it is a Catholicism quote. Separation might be considered a sin if it were a fact that the Catholic church were the one true church but it isn't. The one true...

I have no hate of Catholics but I'll sure rebuke any efforts you make at continuing to argue or infer that Catholicism is the one and only religion of Jesus Christ. Or infer that all others are in error. That's total bs. I hope one day you'll be free in Christ.

Well hell's bells TB. A "free for all" would certainly afford more interaction than what your Sunday denominational meeting brings, although I am not recommending a "free for all". Seriously, "kneel", "sit", "recite", "sing that hymn", "fill this plate", "greet the fella next to you for 30...

    This is not good

Bikes and gravel never have mixed very well. Hope you heal up soon! My bike weighs about 900 lbs but gravel is still like trying to roll over marbles. I avoid it whenever possible.

Your right. Some denominations who like to think they have supreme authority like to do a little twisting to establish this - 2 Peter 3:14-18 Early gatherings consisted often consisted of one of the older men (elder) calling the meeting together. The differences today are dramatic: Theirs...

    Our Dream

"If you wanna get down, down on the ground; cocaine." (Eric Clapton) Actually, Mr. Stubbs is probably writing more of these kinds of letters (different story, same scam) and the sad part is that enough people will send money to keep him in the scam business.

Anyone here ever produce chickens commercially?

Let's see: Hay production, some interesting looking cattle and now chickens? There's gotta be something better than chickens, Whitewing.

Things that aren't as good as they were

Gag me with a spoon. The stuff should be fed to hogs anyway. Heck, I haven't drunk milk since I was about 12. The milkman would leave it in a gallon jug on the doorstep and Mom didn't pick it up until the end of the day - after it sat in the sun all day. Go in the fridge to grab some cold...

    Minerals / Cargill

Interesting! I'll have to keep checking around for a supplier then.

As an amateur ornithologist I've been recording birds....

Very nice, Whitewing! I have the Caracara out my way and those little, what you call 'Scaled Dove' - we call Inca Dove - are out here a lot.

    Minerals / Cargill

This might be old news to some but Cargill is marketing minerals now that are geared for certain pasture conditions. Is this all marketing junk or an offering that should be considered? I asked for Vigertone but they didn't have it so I picked up a bag of the Bronze for browned out pastures.

What happened to Reader the Second's postings

I never knew of Reader2 but it is a shame that someone has to be shoved into a state (by others) that they must ask Macon to remove all of their current and previous posts. I deeply appreciate Macon's understanding and willingness to do this as he had done it for me several years ago. It is...

Livestock falling ill in fracking regions

I would agree that hydraulic fracturing is not at all the problem. But, if the hydraulic fracturing fluid is being released for cattle to drink then that could be a problem.
