    Windy in the Peace Country...

    Wild winds blew through here last night. Reports of gusts reaching 120 kilometers per hour. That converts to 74.5 miles per hour. Temperatures were well above freezing so the snow pack certainly shrank down a lot. Hopefully the deer will be able to forage on something other than my hay now...

    Haying question...

    I use an HT Pro moisture tester to help determine if I should be wrapping hay up or waiting a while longer to bale. I have always try to keep the moisture content around 15%. Can I get away with a higher moisture content and not have to worry about spoilage in the bale?
