Breed up was poor here on second calvers as well. Likely for the same reasons. Always disappointing to lose those. Seems like once you get them into their second calf they tend to stick around.

I bought 5 pairs from a friend’s estate sale for $4,200 back in May. I bought them for posterity but danged if it didn’t end up being profitable.
