    Saint Patrick left something

Yes, he is a he :) I’m going to call him Keno. It’s funny nothing gets ‘names’ around here, instead they get ‘descriptions’… “That’s my 4yr old, that’s the brother to my Dun Horse, that’s my grey horse”… So I started naming a couple horses for him, mostly the ones we talk about a lot. I...

    Saint Patrick left something

We found a present in the pasture Friday morning while caking the Heifers… My Fiancé doesn’t like Paints (Quarter Horse Man) and my 3yr old was the first Paint to take up residence on his place (He’s a good herd marker). His Broodmare has always thrown solid colored Colts. Needless to say he was...

    Two Horses

I got this in an email and really enjoyed it, so I thought I'd share it with you guys... Two Horses Author Unknown Just up the road from my home is a field, with two horses in it. From a distance, each horse looks like any other horse. But if you stop your car, or are walking by, you will...

Is this the beginnings of cancer eye?

Spray WD40 in her eye and it should clear up in a couple days... If not, I'd call the vet.

    Horse turns skittish

The "training method" sounds like the issue to me. Especially if the lady is doing it in her pen... I'd move the lady out, or move your horse somewhere else, where she's not exposed to the training methods.

    Partnership question

I agree with Katrina, I'd trade for a colt or even 2... It's easier to deal in livestock with friends then money. Some people get to 'touchy' when it comes to money and what they think something is worth.

    Skinny 2yr Old Update- PN

Thanks for the kind words Katrina!... Limit sure is a nice horse! Very handsome. It's rough to be a horse in the city... All of the land developers are taking over and where the horse's used to graze green grass years ago, are now 500K+ houses, a High School and a Fire Department. Sometimes hay...

    Horses and Rabies?

Well thank you guys!... I feel a lot better now about the $20 rabies shot :) I've had the same Equine vet for the past 20 years (never vaccinated for Rabies before), but he passed away 2 years ago and I haven't needed a vet since... I was just curious if this new vet was giving all of us the...
