    Anybody know why,

Denny - seems like 220 ac of corn at $5/bu adds up to more than whatever the silage would be worth...why chop it? Sell the calves off the cow and contract or hedge the corn - I don't claim to be a great marketing mind, but others who are say that is the way to go.

    Saddle care

I use neadsfoot something-or-other, oil or compound but I don't recall which. I like to put it on with an old 2" paintbrush. It goes a lot faster than using a rag and you can get in cracks and such much easier. I usually do it over Christmas break from college - always enjoy those winter jobs...

    ATV'S

We have run Hondas and they have been pretty reliable. We have a Foreman S right now, 2001 model with 8500 mi. The engine is bulletproof but the brakes and wheel bearings arent. THose are the only problems we've really had. As far as durability, we have a lot of rocks (more rocks than grass...

    Looking for gooseneck hitch advice

I recently bought a 1999 Dodge 2500 pickup. It doesn't have a gooseneck hitch and I am trying to decide on what brand to go with. A local shop installs Diamond Hitches by Renegade Mfg. out of Cody, WY. Anyone have experience with them? Any other input or advice is much appreciated.
