Rained 1.8 yesterday evening, what an amazing rain it was. Today mid 70's maybe we can get some grass to growing now. I had to lock the truck in 4x4 this morning, that sure was nice for a change!

We got 1.2" on my birthday May 2nd - - - then nothing till 0.4" third week of July

We have had 7" so far this month - - - grass is greening up but the corn is done for - - - soybeans might get a boost.

We had the dryest May, June and July in the history of record keeping here even passing 1934 and 1936 and we have already had the wettest August on record and still have 2 weeks to go.

I give up on trying to figure it out.
