How was your day?

Mine started off fine with a new calf on the ground & a heifer making good progress toward the 2nd of the day, when she got hip locked. She took a lot time walkin' & lookin' around before she laid down again to push. After a few big pushes she managed the rest and I went over to see if it was alright. The calf had stopped breathing, but after about 30 seconds of calf CPR he started breathing again. I'm glad to say the little guy is up and nursing! Just a case of being there at the right time and some help from above.

Makes ya feel good does'nt it. I had one plop out and landed in a heap with its neck and head twisted under itself. I was feeding and from a 1/4 mile could see something was'nt right I drove over and gave it a flip it was pretty close to dead but pulled thru.
