Just wanted to tell y'all a little of what I do. Located in E. AR in the delta we raise Cotton, Corn and Soybeans and have a small cow calf herd. In the winter I fence in Cotton an Corn fields that have had wheat flown into them and run stockers on a rate of gain. I am in a part of the world that has almost no cattle so what I get here and CT is nice to read even if some of it is wrong  Really a big difference in my place and some of y'alls.

we worked at Bentonville on an Angus place about 15 yrs ago, really rocky there, I sure liked the people we met.

Welcome Jed! :D Without cotton, I wouldn't have wranglers or snap shirts! I hope your get the Picture deal figured out and don't mind sharing your part of the planet with us. I love seeing how folks do things the same or totally opposite all while shoulder deep in Agriculture.

How do y'all post pics? Use photobucket or post right to ranchers? Hopefully next week I'll have Internet service an try to post then.

It has been said that no one in their right mind would raise cows here either.

Maybe we are crazy. :?

I doubt that many folks will argue against you on the being crazy !

When Frank was there? They're about 60 or 70 miles from me. I guess you heard that Jack Shewmaker died.

yes Frank was there, he and Christy had just gotten married, I hadn't heard about Jack, they had the nicest house and trout ponds. I really liked Ark., we made some really good friends while we were there..
sorry for the hijack jed!

Welcome. Just from your short summary it is neat to hear what goes on at your place. Can't wait to see it.
Alas, I too am a Leafs fan, but it comes and goes. I am still mad at the Oilers for that day in 1988...
