One of my chemo nurses gavwe me a "A voice Of Her Own" to read while under the drip to day. it is a series of 60 interviews with 60 or so ranch women from all over the three western provinces-mostly along the south end. One of our posters is featured in it. What struck me was how many of them I'd met overr the years-it would be a pretty interestingtrip to stop in and have coffe with all these people-though some are lost by now. What I found most compelling was how candid and forthright the women were about their lives as ranchers wives. Every ranch woman should read it to realize they aren't alone and every man would probably appreciate his beter half a little more. Find it at www.uofcpress.com.

Yea but you forgot a couple of "OOOOOOOOOOO"s :D

That was started before BSE and finished after and you can tell when reading the stories which are which, Up to a point anyways.

Me too.....
My english teacher wrote a couple of books. And man are they good. One is Promisers Big and the other is Coperate Cowboy.. I bought them first just because she was my english teacher. It took me a week to get over Promisers Big...

I've got to figure out how to get it from the tape recorder to the written word besides hunting and pecking. Though as a Canadian were famous as hunters and peckers.

There are programs that will do that for you. No typing required. Well, except for the title, pages, etc.

I don't remember the name of the program(s) but someone else on here can tell you, I'm sure.

You have to train it to recognize your voice, but if you can ride wild horses, I'm betting you can handle a little ole computer program, no?

For example - thanks to google

I think we had a free one on this computer or maybe the last one we had.

You be careful with that book idea. Even people you invent may have real life counterparts with a gun.
Don't let it get too truthful or you will be running down the road dragging that chemo pump.
