A Small Prayer For One of Ours

Best wishes for your son's speedy recovery. Bad when something happens to parents, worse when it happens to kids or grandkids.

Dave, Lila here. Hoping for the best. Sounds very serious. Prayers of course. Let us know the outcome.

About time you signed on. :D I knew it was you by your handle.
Folks, I would like to introduce you to one of my semi-flatland cousins from my home state.

Pekes is OK. He had surgury in Prince George last night to reconnect the tendons in both fingers and several pins to hold broken pieces together. He was on his way home at 2:00 AM this morning. Has a cast from elbow to fingertips and has been instructed not to use that arm for anything for two weeks. Then he gets the pins taken out and another cast.
He said his biggest complaint was that his dry-waller in-laws are coming tommorow to help on the house they are remodeling before they move in and he won't be much help. A neighbor is going to feed for him.

Thanks to everyone for their thoughts and prayers.

Glad to hear the good news, G Creek...I could imagine the pain myself.

Dog2th...welcome...I pass through your neck of the prairie at least twice a week. I am lucky enough to have the most beautiful commute in America...through the Dog2ths :D over the Cedar, Cannonball, Grand and Firesteel...how blessed I am!

And G Creek says it's flat, apparently he doesn't remember the eastern quarter of our great so well, does he?

I'll keep praying for quick healing for your son G Creek...

Cheers...

TTB

All the best to him Dave. I know what it's like to not be able to use a limb, it's the pits. Like when I dislocated my shoulder, or rather a cow did it for me, or the time a colt smashed me into a gate and snapped my collar bone, or when I got busted up in a fight..........

Those are the benefits of living our chosen lifestyle.
The only time a cowboy has fun is when it's been a rough day, you ever hear one talk much about the uneventful everyday chores? :D

How is the hand?

It's doing fine, he has feeling in both fingertips so that part is good. His wife's relations had the gyproc up last night and were going to tape and mud today.
Moccasin telagraph let us know our youngest headed back to Calgary. With NO INSURANCE on his truck.   I imagine he will be contacting R. D. if he hasn't already as he is needing work.

Good to hear. If your youngest gets work with R.D. I will get to meet him eventually as they are doing their fabrication in my shop until he gets his own built. If it doesn't work out let me know, I'm not sure who is looking but sure could ask a few folks.
