All Texans Have a Wild Hog?

Boars get left for buzzard bate....but we will process a sow. Backstrap cut up and fried tastes just like pork chops you'd buy. We make sausage out of most of the rest if it's killed during cold weather. Just can't smoke em when it's as hot as it is now.
FIL bought himself a golf cart yesterday....so he's out and about on it this afternoon. He seen a huge boar out by a neighbors tank...came back and got a gun and made a trip back. Didn't see anything on the return trip.

Better get a scabbard for that golf cart. :D :D :D

Leaving a pile of dead hogs in a cow pasture could cost you a fortune later on . It would be way better to bury them or make them inedible with fuel or oil . If a wild hog is positive for neospora caninum & you pile them up for the coyotes ,dogs , or wolves to eat . you can kiss your next calf crop goodbye . Or if a pack of coyotes comes to your hog pile & they are shedding neospora at the time , you will have a cow pasture full of the stuff .
