Went to the County planning committee meeting last night, after tabling for a month, they past a 5 acre green house next too. It will use hot water from one well take the calcium out and few other things and use it to heat their water and green houses. After it is used it is to be injected back into one of the undelaying strata's. Fresh water from another well be used to raise Tilapia (probably the only fish I will not eat)then tomatoes and lettuce will be grown above the fish. OH it supposed to hire 30 workers(my bet is minimum wage workers)

If they are planning on an aquaponic system using the fish nutrients to grow the plants, and re-cycling the clean water back into the fish ponds, the water usage will be minimal, why wouldn't they also re use the heating water (we once used a hot water system to brood chickens minimal water use), but yes, the labour is mostly unskilled minimum wage for this type of system.
