Sticking to my guns, got a TX made Tundra 381hp half ton to run around in. :wink:Silver said:Kinda funny seeing some of you folks entertaining the idea of having anything to do with a chev or a dodge after some of the statements made a while back concerning government bailouts and such

The ol' 460 will mileage with most diesels pulling the weight, and last time I bought fuel there was a little discount for E-10 compared to diesel fuel. I already am prepared to defend the mileage statement, but how new of a diesel powered unit will whip 7.4 mpg at 26.000# plus mile in, mile out... My $4000 460 won't quite make that, with the deductions for 15-W40 and power steering fluid figured in, but when I open the hood I recognize damn near everything that's under there. I realize there are bigger loads to move around, one name comes to mind and it doesen't quite rhyme with Red Oval... but that'll work.
