That's what I call the pueblo near the ranch. I was looking over some of my notes from the past year and it's amazing how many barter deals I've done.

The last involved two young Charolais bulls and a day's work with my front end loader for 60+ acres of harvested sorghum and 6 producer hogs of assorted ages. :D

There's not a lot of money in the streets these days and Venezuelans love a good "cambalache" as they call it. I've had a lot of training in horse trading via my years in a sector of the collector market and really enjoy it myself.

Anyway, I got a good chuckle thinking about it all.

Nothing like a good horse trade or any other bartering "deal" to make the heart sing. To me it's much more of an adrenalin rush than any sports event. :-)

Indeed, and when money's short on either end, it helps get the deal done. Personally, I love it.......though I still gotta pay the boys on Saturday. :D
