Little thunderstorm hit here about 1/2 hour ago and is putting down some nice rain... Heading your way... But they say the system is going to stack up over southern SK - and keep it wet all night and into tomorrow... Predicting an inch or more of rain :D

We got enough to get everything muddy and stop those in the fields... About .3 on an inch... Those east of us got quite a bit more...

We seeded down 30 acres of oats and grass seed mixture yesterday Just finished rolling it this morning and now its raining on it perfect.

Billings area got some bad hail- some bigger than a golfball...Lots of vehicle and building damage...
Too early in the year for hail... Been a weird weather year.....

Thunderstorm development is expected by midday Wednesday and will continue into the evening and overnight hours. The threat for severe weather is mainly north of the Missouri River; however, Petroleum and Garfield Counties could have thunderstorms that produce damaging winds. Areas along the Canadian border and the northeast corner of the state will have the highest potential for very strong and severe thunderstorms. Big Muddy, Cedarcreek and anyone else up in the NE corner of MT better batten the hatchs for tomorrow.... Temp is supposed to be 91- and then thunderstorms....

Watford City had a tornado that hit a man camp last night- injured 9- 8 were walking wounded but one 15 year old girl was in critical condition...

Too early for 90 degree temps and tornadoes...

One of my friends from the Scobey area says that 3 of the nations top stormchaser's are in Cornach Saskatchewan today- with the belief that is where the worst storms are headed..
One storm has went south and east of that area- but one that is going north and west of me looks like it could be headed that way....

We just missed the storm on tuesday, talked to the brother in law and they got 1.6 inchs out of that one,got lucky and missed another one yesterday evening but the one last night got us.Another inch of rain and 115 klick winds,we are beyond wet again!Going to be a few days before the ground will be dry enough to carry the equipment, and even then when we start seeding again we will be just mudding it in so we can keep going.Wish some of you that are so dry would start taking your share of the rain, were getting tired of all the rain and mud!! It's sure hard to complain about to much rain, but enough is enough give it to someone that needs it!

That's just crazy. We are so dry we get excited about .2 of an inch. We will sure take any extra!!!!

I've got 2"s in my rain gauge since 10 pm last night. Crops are all planted and sprouted so this should really help the corn with the hot weather we've been having fertilized all of our hay ground about 2 1/2 weeks ago and caught several rains on it I bet most fields are 12 to 16" high already and looks thick.

Did you get some rain yesterday? I looked at the radar an it was raining from Colorado clear up into North Dakota. We got 1.2 inches yesterday afternoon.

No we didn't from that storm. But this morning about 5 we had a stray storm pop up and we got from 1 to 2 inches on everything we have. Storms this year have been very hit or miss. 5 miles down the road barely sprinkled.

It's wet out there. got around 2 inches last evening and through the night. :D :D

I was hoping it would hit here- but went east of us again...We only got a tenth of an inch- with the north pasture picking up a little more... We could use a couple of inches as those 90 degree days dryed things out...
