What 's your bovine booster worth this year-could you self feed it or does it need to be fed daily.

It was $260 a tonne Fob Regina.

I put it out in tubs enough for a few days. Remember horses paw it so it is best not to have it out in a mixed herd.

It is 680kg of canola meal 20kg of AFA canola oil and 300kg of salt. I call it Big Muddy Bossy Bloomer. All natural protien and I haul it out in my Feed box and fill tubs a couple times a week. Puts a shine on the cows while helping them digest dormant grass. I figure it's cheaper then tubs and they can get what they need.

I'll have to see if they'd make it in LLoyd-it worked good the year we used it but the freight killed us.

Same conversation we were just having. Fort Macleod or Strathmore might be able to make it. Is it in pellet form? Is it proprietary? :wink:

It's in meal form as they can't pellet that much salt. Some little thing about burning down the mill. :?
