Well winter ain't over! We had a nasty couple of days here earlier this week with about 6" of wet snow and then yesterday it rained and melted some of it.
Well, overnight!!! :shock: :shock: we got about another foot of something that was between snow and slush. Weighs like lead and it's like driving through newly poured concrete. Pulled down powerlines all around.
Our power went out at 5AM between the first and second shift of sons leaving for their various places of employment. So the first son had a hot breakfast but it was cold cereal for the other two.
The generator kept the house warm and the calves watered and the cows got their feed early today.
The power just came back on but I'm inside now and my feet are up for the rest of the day. It's pretty cozy in here . . .
