Kc Royals are in first place in the division this late in the season for the second time since 1985. Hottest team in baseball right now along with the overspending tiggers going in the tank makes for exciting finish of the season for Royals fans!!
 
No I didn't. I saw the end of that game. Lots of red in the stands. I also saw him hit a bomb first inning of his bobble head day Sunday. I very rarely get to watch a whole game but listen to on radio and watch bits. Always check out highlight on the ole inter web. My dad and I discuss royals first thing every morning when we see each other at the farm. I have to admit I think billy butler is the worst dh in the history of baseball. At least he was hitting like that this year. However as a first baseman. He's crushing it. Like doubled his production in a dozen games. Al player of the week!! The only bad part about watching royals is listening to Rex hudler. Denny Mathews is hard to beat.
 
That's like me...never see an entire game, just bits & pieces. I try to listen to them on the radio as much as I can, but that's kind of hit & miss, too. I do think Gordo was blown away by all the red in the stands. I just hope Yost keeps doing what he's doing. Yessir, the good old days with Fred & Denny on the mikes. Hard to beat.
 
Ls other win for the Royals! My parents went out to the game in Denver last night. 3.5 hour trip compared to 5.5 to KC. Dad said more Royals fans than Rockies. He saw a farmer from the next town over from us about 10 seats down before game. They were talking about who knows what and anyway guy said Billy Butler fil feeds cattle at a Feedyard about 10 miles from where we farm. Not newsworthy but kind of interesting.
 
I heard a couple of weeks ago that Larry the Cable Guy has built a place at the Harlan county Dam. That's one place where he could be incognito....seems like every male 18-80 has to have the 'stache and goatee thing ruining their looks nowadays. I didn't realize operating a razor was so hard...

BOOM!!! Goes the native Nebraskan. Unbelievable how the royals are playing. Those are the type of games they used to never win.
 
When the wife allows me the TV, I've been watching them. My other options are switching over during commercials or listening to the game on MLB.com. The other day, MLB.com had a special where you could get video of all the games for the rest of the year for $12. I bought that but they won't let me watch the Twin series as they say that I'm in the TV viewing area of one of the teams. I sent them an email asking them to remedy that situation as, according to MapQuest, I'm 525 miles from KC and 563 miles from Minneapolis and I didn't see how I was in either team's TV viewing area and that the closest MLB team to me was the Rockies. As of this morning, I haven't heard back yet.

OH YAH!!!!!!!!!! The last time the Royals were in the playoffs I was 5 years old. I don't remember that, but I do remember most of the rest of the 29 years of disappointing seasons since. I can hardly believe they are back in. GO ROYALS!!!!
 
Best game I've ever watched!!!!! As a result I can't talk today from yelling at the tv. Lol Got home just in time for the top of 8. Almost didn't want to watch. The royals have hard time scoring 4 runs a whole game didn't think any way they would do that in 8&9 inning! Just crazy still can't believe they won!! :shock:
 
The terable thing about that game was I could have been there. Sales manager from a company I do buisness with offered me a box suite ticket and I turned him down. 5 hour drive and i said was to busy. :cry:
 
Unbelievable! Country Breakfast stole a base for the first time in over 2 years!

Looking for a sweep against the Angels tonight!
