Ecosystem divide is not far off to the east and north of the Empire Ranch where it goes from Prairie to the Black hills. Farther eat on I-25 by Upton each side of the interstate is different.

I'm confused. I-25 doesn't go by Upton. No interstate goes by Upton that we know of.

Now, now. We mustn't forget the two little porkers in Lonesome Dove that hiked all the way from Texas to Montana with a herd of cows.
They may have passed right through part of Wyoming.
