Ecosystem divide is not far off to the east and north of the Empire Ranch where it goes from Prairie to the Black hills. Farther east on US 16 by Upton each side of the interstate is different. One side is Prairie the other large green weeds called Ponderosa

I'm confused. I-25 doesn't go by Upton. No interstate goes by Upton that we know of.

Now, now. We mustn't forget the two little porkers in Lonesome Dove that hiked all the way from Texas to Montana with a herd of cows.
They may have passed right through part of Wyoming.
