I've just come back in from checking to see which cows are in heat and being bred, and I was just wondering if any of you all do the same? I always check early in the morning, and again later in the afternoon/early evening. I find it's a whole lot easier choosing which cows to bring up close to the barns come the next calving season. I've hardly ever had any cows fool me and have them calve out back in the bigger corral. I'd do this as a poll, but haven't quite figured out how to do that, so just your comments will be appreciated.
