i watched what i could on superior...cattle looked darn good. :clap:

I only got to see parts of it- but it looked pretty good to me...Lot #1 was bought by ABS (didn't catch the price)-- and it seemed the commercial heifers sold very well- as well as some of the registered cows...

Our power was out all afternoon so we couldn't watch it.

Glad that job is over, now if I can get through the paper work.
Sale went good. We cataloged 184 bulls, pulled 9 due to semen test failure, and quality the week of the sale and sold 163 bulls. Our average was $3016 all the way across. The top was Lot 129 at $23,000 going to a group of breeders, and the second high was Lot 1 for $9500 going to ABS. Their were 92 commercial bred heifers and they averaged $1225 and 178 commercial opens at $731. I thought the registered femeales was a bit soft though. Don't know what thse averages were yet on those.
