Definately the voice.......................he has one of those voices, that no matter where I am in the house, if the TV is on, and he's talkin, I'll drop what I"m doin and run........ :lol2: Mr Lilly knows this fact, and has already said, if I (me) ever get to meet Sam in person.......He (Mr Lilly) will feel like toast

I've loved EVERYTHING Sams in...my fav.was Conager {sp} Robert Duvall as Gus retty: what woman didn't just fall in love with Gus! That being said,I like Robert Duvall in other movies too....we missed the one your all talking about :?

If you watch Robert Duvall in all of his movies he always has the same little twitches and actions no matter what the character is, it's fun to see how he works them into each character.
I noticed at the end of "Broken Trail" they told about the characters, I didn't realize it was based on a true story, or was that just hollywood in action again? Either way it was still a good movie. Bob is right about the hats being tipped up on one side and that the pencil role and brim shape on Roberts hat was off a few years. As I said, stilla great movie though.
