A cold April 6 morning kept this guy off the loads we shipped last fall.

Oat silage as part of the calve's diet.
Bleak looking Morrison Meadow Flat
The first bale that gets rolled out is a late cut gut filler that I bring from home. Knowing there is better to come, the masses seem to say, "Is that all there is?"
Still waiting for photographer to turn into hay provider again.

Eat till ya bust.
One feed row meanders through the timber and out of the wind.
Powerless block heater if needed.
I sure appreciate a former owner of MM for building a shop there.

Drinking in the overflow, they are standing on a creek that is frozen solid. The backed up water creeps down through the snow. There will be several acres of ice here in the spring after the snow is gone.
