Re: R-CALF USA CEO Bill Bullard is First-Segment Guest
on Thursday's AgriTalk Radio Show;
John Masswohl, Canadian Cattlemen's Assn. Int'l. Relations Director
to Follow as Second-Segment Guest
R-CALF USA CEO Bill Bullard is a guest on tomorrow's AgriTalk radio show, airing live from 10:06 a.m. to 10:59 a.m. Thursday on one of almost 75 affiliate stations (listed below.) After Bullard's appearance, AgriTalk Host Mike Adams will visit with John Masswohl, international relations director for the Canadian Cattlemen's Association. Topics to be covered are issues important to cattle producers.
Persons interested in listening to the program, but who do not have an AgriTalk radio affiliate in their area can also listen to the program live by going to www.agritalk.com and clicking on the 'live' link. AgriTalk Producer John Herath said the show will be archived as well, but the archived version is usually not available until two or three hours after the show airs. Archived shows usually remain on the AgriTalk website for roughly four months, Herath said.
Should Adams invite callers to participate in the show, the number to dial is: 1-888-247-4825.
Besides R-CALF USA's concerns with the prevalence of BSE in the Canadian cattle herd, the organization also works on other issues for the benefit of independent U.S. cattle producers, which include country-of-origin labeling, mandatory livestock price reporting, captive supplies and packer ownership of livestock, the 2007 Farm Bill, animal identification, and various trade agreements.
