I'm going to school and get my BSA next year, I'll be workin this year. I HATE traveling unless its to see family and such. No foreign countries.
Thanks for all the concern.
Katy

Katy!! you HAVE to visit foreign shores, it broadens your horizons, and 'rounds off your education with some life experiences, the downside is you occasionally bump into strange foreiners like me

haha Andybob, traveling is to expensive, unless i hitch :P It would be cool to go to New Zealand, but maybe later, I have the rest of my life, and it would be much funner to travel with my man. (honeymoon?)

I believe that would be the upside of traveling, bumping into you andybob... :)

Katy, your going to do what you want to do but most are speaking from expirence, and truly being a little far apart isn't really a bad thing at your age,but heck I know your not going to listen anyway. Like the rest of us,you'll learn as you go. Good luck, you ever get into AB....your welcome to visit... :)

Good luck kid!We all have our teen stories and none of us took anyones advice, some of us wish we had,but we all came out on the other side, and here we are  Use your smarts, love your man,and don't have kids till you're older and can mentally, phsically, and finacially afford them. And no matter where you go,support local agriculture :) Hope you get more sheep sometime.Sold mine a couple months ago for feed considerations and miss the heck out of those pain in the butts :P Take care.Good luck.

Heck just moving from Manitoba to Septre SK will broaden anybodies horizons

In fact I don't think you can get much broader horizons then around there..

What is a BSA?! :???:

Bachelor of Science in Agriculture.

Thanks everyone, WERE not planning on having kids for a while, least another 5-6 years.

R2 that sounds really cool, I would love to do something like that, but would rather live and work on the ranches. haha

Mrs. G that would be a highlight in my life meeting Andybob, he is a cool guy, anyone should take it as an honor to meet him. :) Might have to hold you to that offer. haha

There is no doubt that we will be supporting local Agriculture, Dad's been a farmer for all his life and his family has been farming for like 6 generations. It's in our blood. Yeah I will definitely will miss the sheep, coming up to me lookin for a alfalfa cube.

I do love Adam, we will be apart for a month and I have no clue how I will handle it. Never been apart for more then 2 weeks. It's been a year and a half, and were still going strong. My parents are fairly strict and they think its ok, so why not? I've never met anyone that I have loved more. We'll besides family. haha We have been through thick and thin and we are still together. So I think I have a pretty good thing going here, he is an amazing guy my family loves him and his family loves me. And we love each other.

BMR           All I have to say to you.

Thanks everyone for your advice. I appreciate it.

Thank you ladies for your compliments, I am really just an ordinary person who has been presented with a few extraordinary situations on life's road.
CC, you have all your life ahead, make some concrete goals, list a few places you will visit no matter what else happens, rise above lifes problems and dissapointments-overcome them, learn from them and come out stronger and wiser. Never compromise your ethics or principles, I once walked out of a good job when challenged to work in a way that challanged my ethics, while on suspension, I was offered a much better job "out of the blue", my employers were shocked, they believed they were intimidating me into complying with their demands, keep your faith and you will win through!
You are entering the best time of your life, and the most exiting. I had to accept a little invitation to join the army at 18, to quote Sir Peter Ustinov, playwrite and actor, I hated every minute of it, and wouldn't have missed it for the world! Do well in all your endevours, and I wish you all the best through your future-but don't forget to keep us all updated over here on Ranchers. My little girl is visiting us for her birthday, so we have had a great time with her visiting (and overeating), hard to think our eldest is now 30!!
