Calling All Americans

congrats to the US. could have been worse, could have been the Swedes. heck of a game, had my heart pumping.............

well that intensifies the rivalry. canada played the whole tournament as if the last five years proved everything so they were due to lose it. should be more motivated next year since it's being played in the states.

That was a helluva game, coulda went either way. Congrats to the US, that was quite a team they put on the ice. And congrats to the Canadian boys for putting up an incredible fight against the US 2 games in a row and for never giving up.

ah......thats gotta burn a little :D :D sorry, i don't mean to rub it in :lol2:

Looking forward to watching the Olympics ,especially the women's hockey as Canada's head coach is our neighbors daughter.. We'll see if Canada can take the gold again. :D

What a game-had just about everything. I can't ever remember a gold medal game where both starting goalies got the hook. The USA was veery well coached to not sag after blowing that two goal lead. They never quit believing in themselves and have a gold medal to show for it. Full credit to the U'S on the win-imagine if Eberle would of scored another overtime winner-what a player when the chips are down. Did you know there was an okie and a cornhusker on team U'S-you can get along lol. On the winning goal we hada late 'D' and the goalie pulled off his post and it cost him.

could not have been a born and raised Okie and Husker..kids in this area know that FOOTBALL is king not figure skating with sticks

I'll have to agree with you on this one! We're NOT yanks down this way. The closest thing I've seen to ice hockey down here is when my dog slid across a frozen water puddle the other day out in the pasture. Scared the crap out of him.

Umm Dallas Stars have the greatest U'S hockey player ever Mike Modano-you can go watch them after Philly pounds the Cowboys this weekend. Modano played his junior hockey in Sask. he was and is an incredible talent. Jigs only the poor fighters lose teeth lol.

There's a cookie recipe that Dallas Cowboy fans like to keep handy. It's pretty simple.

How to make Dallas Cowboys cookies - put'em in a bowl and beat them for 3 hours.

Let's see:
Sun, Nov 8 @ Philadelphia 20-16 Cowboys won
Sun, Jan 3 PHILADELPHIA 24-0 Cowboys won

So far, it looks like those Eagles have been tarred and feathered!

It was a joke, Liveoak, it was a joke!

The big dogs were on the ice last night-the little dogs were under the porch in Texas yapping lol. I thought the Eagles thing would get a rise lol. Remember sorts is about what you do game day not what you've done!!! One thing I've learnt about Texans is the real pros that I've met Will Lowe,Chris Harris etc are pretty humble good guys-it's the wannabees that chirp and give the state a bad name. Now go buy some Dallas Stars tickets!!
