Cattle Today forum.

Well, here is another CT "refugee". I have already lurked over here from time to time because I enjoy the photo "essays", but since we are such a small potatoes outfit I didn't feel qualified to join and actively post.

But when I caught myself browsing the backyard chicken forum and reading about roo's and other cutesy stuff tonight, I knew I had to do something! So, if I solemnly swear not to try and tell the big boys how it should be done, can I play over here too?? 8)

I think it is Daffy Duck.

Hey, I'm here, my sister's got wireless so I can actually look at photos without waitig for hours... and the boards are still down!

Been buying more Angus bulls this morning - yearlings, one photo, one sight unseen. Should be much higher quality than the ones I've got so if I can get grazing I might hold them over to next year, next mating season.
I'd been away a week, walking, visiting. A week - no, six days. Finsihed AI and put the two bulls that weren't lame with the herd before I left. Came back to find three lame bulls. Front feet, thank goodness, doesn't stop them working.
So this is what I do with my holidays. Spend hours phoning and e-mailing other farmers, vets, the relief milker...

Hi Regolith, I didn't know you were on holidays .I hope you are at least doing some relaxing and enjoying yourself.

Looks like we might be getting CT back, fingers crossed.

I got the 'please check back in a couple hours' message just now.

Wireless or not, not managing to upload photos since the first two. Ah well, maybe they aren't that brilliant - I mean, 100 images of New Zealand bush has got to get boring sometime.

Not sure if it's my computer or the site, but somebody please tell me I am not losing my mind; there really were avatars before. Today, they are not showing up???

Mo, no avatars are showing up on here ?

omg so slowwwwwwwww again. This is so frusterating..

la da da

hmm 3 minutes and still downloading.
I bet this is going to refresh before it actually posts my response.. 8)

At least CTers have Ranchers in order to get a small "fix". Even if it is s-l-o-o-o-o-w-w-w at times. Going cold turkey would be unbearable. :D

Happy New Year everyone and God Bless. May 2010 be a year of PEACE, health and happiness for everyone.

Now I am going to snuggle the new pup and pray to God that my husband makes it safely to his next stop, as the roads are treacherous right now..
