This whole thing is rediculous, Hanta. Somebody didn't get their way at R-CALF and the clique they were in got overruled. They got all torked off and stormed off, and now it's just a pity party. The bylaws are clear - the Board of Directors are Kiker's bosses. They can boot him if they choose. He went against them and they booted him. His dismissal was a consequence of his own actions.
So what are they trying to get done? Is there anyting positive that they're trying to accomplish? Just what the heck to they want or do they even know?

The purpose of swiftstallions.com is to tell the real truth on what's going on with R-Calf, and how their monies are spent NOT helping grassroots people! I'll bet you will never go to that website in fear of what you just might find out :wink:

Some of this would be better named "Swift-Boating" :roll: 
One of the things to remember-- is several of the people involved in this whole mess are looking at running for Montana Governor/Senator/Representative etc.... Ones a State Party Chairman...
Lots of positioning for political goals going both ways here too...Just too bad the cattlemens groups are caught in the center....

I don't buy the story that it is somebody that just wants to expose the big bad R-CALF leadership for the good of all producers who then chooses to remain anonymous to assume the role of unsung hero - not with all the venom that is between the lines. This is clearly somebody with a personal agenda who doesn't have the guts to personally stand behind the allegations. In short, a chickensheet. I don't assign a lot of credibility or respect to folks of that ilk.
Do I want to know of any indescrtions in the leadership of an organization that I'm paying dues to? Of course I do. Am I going to give any credibility to somebody who lobs accusations behind a pseudonym? No, I'm not. If you have something, stand up and say it. If it's the truth, you have nothing to fear. In court, you have the right to face your accuser - that rule is in place for a reason.
If it is Zalesky, which it could be, she sure screwed up. She just burned any bridges she may of had with current R-CALF leadership and any other organization that she wants to be a leader for is going to be wary of her - don't tork her off or she'll hold a grudge forever and air out the laundry for everybody to see.

If you go to that website- and check out the names on the committee chairs/directors and compare them to some of the folks that been writing letters to the editor, and named on that Swiftboating website (that Hanta insinuates owns/controls the site), and furthering this peeing match- and they are some and the same- and spouses....
I even sent USCA and R-CALF both e-mails on this (never got an answer back from either one)...But both groups support issues that I support- and while I don't agree with all the things either does-I've paid membership fees and supported R-CALF- and had the intention to do the same with USCA until all this backstabbing came up.... This is not the time to be furthering this battle in the papers or websites...Both support about the same issues (M-COOL, Packer Ownership, etc. etc) and its too important a time to just let all that go for a bunch of hurt feelings and a "I'm going to get even with you" attitude....If these folks, in both groups, truly are for the ranchers- they'll quit having their Hatfields and McCoys battles in the media......
If someone was wronged- settle it in court- not in the newspapers and websites...
