Check this website out...

I just got off the phone talking to Linda Grosskopf. She, Leesa and another person who designed the website were the people who posted the "awful stuff" about R-Calf in Swifthorses. They wanted the membership to know what was going on with the leadership, and then got rid of the website. Unfortunately, not many members believed the website. Someone else has taken the information from swifthorses and started up a new website called swiftstallions. Linda and Leesa have nothing to do with this website other than whoever started the new one took all the info from swifthorses and carried on from there.

You R-Calfers need to look at your leadership, check out what your hard earned dollars are paying for

I rest my case

I even sent USCA and R-CALF both e-mails on this (never got an answer back from either one)...

Thats exactly what Sandhusker and I have been saying--This site means nothing.... We don't know who just started this site and is putting out the info- or for what purpose and goal this info is being put out- and/or how reliable/credible it is....

Is it hurt feelings continueing a peeing match :???: Maybe its that group the Packers financed that NCBA secretly joined in to try and kill M-COOL and Packer Ownership :???: ...It came up at an opportune time
This is no different- nor no more reliable than the propoganda crap Ditmer gets paid big money by the Packers/AMI/NCBA to post- but than refuses to even name any of his claimed "Foundation" ...

NOPE the swiftstallions is coming from inside. I can't say more.

I guess the "insider" hasn't ever heard of "riding for the brand"....

Well if there is an insider of either of those organizations that doesn't have enough "cajones" to stand behind it- they probably shouldn't be in the position.....
I wouldn't want anyone like that working with me- if they weren't man enough to step forward and say it to someones face- but went behind my back to backstab......
If they don't openly confront it- it can't get taken care of.......

I guess it comes from years of law enforcement involvement-- whenever I had a "confidential informant" I always looked to see what their motive was- and what was in it for themselves....Often there was much more than just being a "good citizen".....

Go here. A letter to MCA members explaining their "disaffiliation" with R-CALF.

Oh I was aware of that-- I am also quite aware of the "politics" that are running rampant between cattlemens groups and Helena right now...
Like I said- with some of the names involved- having filed for or holding public political offices- and others that have been named as possible "replacements" for several elected state and federal offices- nothing right now surprises me....

I saw some of the same when the MSGA turned against the ranchers interests and fought the Montana M-COOL- mainly because of Helena politics....

 money is all this is about. It is easy to spend someonelse's money when you don't have to be accountible. How long until R-CALF is suing it's contributors for not giving enough money?

UPDATE:

Go to www.swiftstallions.com and look up timeline, go read August 8, 2007, deposition of Linda Grosskopf. This is an update. You will find out the why the reason for swifthorsesdotcom.

Nord: Were there any discussions that you had with anyone regarding the potential impact on R-CALF or its employees that was likely to arise from the posting of certain documents?

Grosskopf: It was my goal that they would be held accountable and that I would have helped do that.

Nord: "They"?

Grosskopf: The hijackers.

Nord: I don't think you've ever specified who you think all the hijackers are in this case.

Grosskopf: The Board members and Bill. The current Board member, anybody that was on that conference call and voted, that caused the series of events to start. Right there, you've got them (the hijackers). They must have a copy of who was on that call (on February 8, 2007, when Director Eric Nelson made a motion for Chuck Kiker's removal as President even though this topic was not on the set agenda.)

The last I knew- thats how organizations run-Board members are elected by members- and these board members and the CEO make decisions- hopefully following the input of the membership...If this was "the new boards" decision- then her "traitor" term is just sour grapes because she disagrees with the board majoritys' actions-and agrees with a few of the boards minority (old) members (who instead of staying in to fight for what they believe- started pouting, took their ball, and went home  ).....

Nord: Do you think R-CALF currently isn't doing its best for the ranchers?

Grosskopf: I don't know. I never got past what they did (hostile takeover). I never, I NEVER got past that. I didn't forgive them. I didn't understand it.

Yep- a personal PIZZIN match that does harm to US producers and ranchers and little to help her biased cause.....If she didn't like the actions QUIT the organization- no one was forcing her/them to belong...

But the continued attacking of the organization appears to have turned into nothing more than a biased personal Vendetta

I didn't forgive them-
making the credibility of anything on the site highly questionable....

Know what, OT? I think you would see it with your own eyes and still not believe it  or at least not want to believe it

At least you went there and did some reading

Well Hanta- I can only see it the way I see it....

Grosskopf: I don't know. I never got past what they did (hostile takeover). I never, I NEVER got past that. I didn't forgive them. I didn't understand it.

That right there sums it up for me....Under oath- she says she don't know if they're doing their best for the ranchers because she never even looked any further- can't get past or forgive the issue of the shakeup of the board- which if you've served on any boards is a common occurence after you have new members come on a board ...

He!! hath no fury like a woman scorned!!!!

Lawsuits:
R-CALF USA has filed two lawsuits (unrelated to cattle industry issues) with producer dollars and without producer authorization. Attorneys fees to R-CALF are estimated to have exceeded $100,000 to date and are still accumulating.

R-CALF Litigation Summary

R-CALF, in what has been described as a fit of paranoia, commences lawsuits against former founders, directors, and members:

I. R-CALF v. Matthew A. Lane, Action #DV 07-0581, filed in Billings, Montana, on April 30, 2007, sues a loyal supporter. Matt Lane, one of R-CALF's most avid supporters, who along with his wife Jamie created the Cattlemen's Journal, suddenly found himself a defendant in this lawsuit.

R-CALF spent thousands of dollars recovering what no one wanted, and that's the right to use the name "Cattlemen's Journal." This caused enormous economic harm to Matt and his family. Several months after the case was filed, it was settled and R-CALF spent an estimated $10,000 to obtain what they could have received with a ten-cent phone call. We say estimated because R-CALF continues to refuse to release the exact amount. Thus, cattle producers financed a lawsuit that had no legitimate purpose. Maybe someone will ask R-CALF to provide the billing records so we won't have to estimate the actual costs. R-CALF's contributions at work!

II. R-CALF v. Chuck Kiker, Jon Wooster, Dennis McDonald, et al. On the same date as R-CALF v. Lane was filed, R-CALF filed a second lawsuit against former R-CALF president Chuck Kiker, former director Jon Wooster, and former director and founder Dennis McDonald. This second lawsuit is known as Action # DV 07-0582 and was also filed in Billings, Montana.

This lawsuit has also been described as being filed in a fit of paranoia and a vendetta. This action has cost R-CALF an estimated $100,000 with no end in sight. The only thing R-CALF has to show for this effort and the expenditure has been the return of a worthless and broken laptop computer, which could have been recovered with a simple phone call to Chuck Kiker. Judge Todd Baugh has compared the legal significance of the computer to a couple of pencils.

A. Allegations of R-CALF: R-CALF in their complaint alleges that the three defendants used the R-CALF membership list to build the United States Cattlemen's Association. R-CALF after spending this $100,000 now knows there is no evidence to support this allegation.

B. R-CALF alleges that the defendants breached their fiduciary duty to R-CALF. After taking seven depositions and spending this $100,000 they now know there is no evidence to support this allegation.

C. R-CALF alleged that the defendants have violated Montana's Trade Secret Act and now know how utterly ridiculous this allegation is.

D. R-CALF has alleged that the defendants distributed confidential documents. After expending $100,000, they have no evidence of any such conduct by any of the three defendants.

OH, and they are $300,000 behind in paying their lawyer. Hopefully they can drum up enough of your hard earned dollars to pay them off....

I suppose your info comes from your "scorned womens" website- or the Dittmer of Swiftstallions :???:  Now that is the height of credibility   :( People with paranoia and a vendetta- saying someone else is doing something because of paranoia and a vendetta

HATFIELDS AND MCCOYS COVERS IT BETTER......

Guess what, OT? Linda has nothing to do with swiftstallions. She has an idea but won't tell.

You read wrong, OT...R-Calf has the paranoia and the vendetta. They have moved from their original stance in representing the producer to sue, sue, sue, sue, sue, sue, sue, sue, sue, sue, sue and sue. There are other ways to settle problems without lawsuits! Your hard earned dollars are paying for frivolous lawsuits that have nothing to do with representing the producer! So let's see....R-Calf is suing some old members of the board when a simple phone call would have settled the problem. yup, that's it ...let's sue and sue and sue!!!

Besides, OT, I like to get your goat. You will in no way, shape or form change your mind. I just love to bug you about it :D :D :D :D :D

And bug and bug and bug and bug and bug.......

Oh it doesn't bother me that bad, anymore-- I've got pretty used to watching cattle groups fighting and infighting screw cattlemen and ranchers from just following the actions of the NCBA.... :(

And just like NCBA hides behind Dittmer and secret organizations with the Packers to put out its falsehoods and work against even their own promises or memberships wish's- I have learned not to put much credibility with someone that doesn't have the cajones to stand up and put their name and/or their groups name to their actions...

Well their latest backdooring name was posted on here earlier--Its got some huge long name- maybe Sandhusker or one of them guys can remember it...Anyway- after the NCBA and Packers came to an agreement with the Congressmen on a M-COOL law in the Farm Bill- and all promised they would not fight or oppose it as written-- NCBA again joined with the Packers and went behind the backs of everybody and formed this fancy named group to try and kill/change M-COOL--- which like I said- really doesn't suprise me because their word has been worthless for a long time in my view.......
