Anyone out there have any cows out of shipwheel chinook bull? Just wondering how they are turning out? How are they for good mama's, easy keeping, and bagged?

I did a "search" of the posts and nothing came up for Chinook- so you'll probably have to ask...

This is an almost all angus site - with numerous purebred breeders... And usually there is someone that has used the bull or seen calves/cows from them....
 
I bought some heifers afew years back to sell as 3's the next fall. They were bred to the chinook bull. Very easy calving and the calves were pretty good in the fall. I saved about a dozen of those heifer calves for replacements and they just had their first calf this spring. They look like they may be a little harder keeping than I would like, but that might coincide with the fact that they probably milk a little more than my own heifers. Disposition seems really good on them also. I know it's a small sample size but at least it's something.
