Well I"ve been busy the last few days, finished a quilt, and a pair of jeans. Well the jeans may not be finished, I can't make up my mind if I need to do somethin else to em or what......

Here's the quilt........................and one wiener that for some reason thinks the quilt is hers. LOL

You are a lady of many talents Lilly. My sister is a quilter and I know how many hours a quilt can take to make.

Are the jeans bell bottoms :o or is the photo an optical illusion? Looks like 2 legs at the very bottom but the wife and I are not sure.

They are......although I don't care for them...that's the style now. There's about an inch and a half slit at the bottom on each leg.

The quilt was relatively easy. 140 squares 7x7 denim and 140 squares same size for the bottom. What's neat about this quilt is there is no batting, and when you are finished sewing the blocks together, you are finished sewing. Then you just clip the exposed edges and wash it and it ruffles out and gets fuzzy.

Aging myself but I'm quite partial to the Bell Bottoms, heck that's ALL I wore in Junior and Senior high....

Really good looking projects Lilly.....Does the dog come with the quilt.....

Mrs. Greg.......She's my lil buddy. She can't go anywhere. I'd be lost without her. As well as the other two wieners too.

She's a blanket hog. Any blanket or jacket left where she can get to it, she's gonna get on or in. Since the quilt is for our son....she won't hafta go anywhere to get to enjoy it. Other than maybe to his bedroom. She does disappear on me occasionally and sneak off in there with him LOL

Great job on both projects. I love quilts :D I should learn how to do them someday. There are alot of teachers here in the area that would likely be willing to show me how. :)
One of these days, I'll post pics of some of my 'projects'. I should have them all done by Sunday or Monday :)

Jigger Boss...quilting like I do ain't that hard. I don't have the patience to sit and do the little bitty hand stitching. (It's beautiful...but I can't make myself do it) Ever thang I quilt is more what I call, sturdier quilting. I love workin with denim. It's one of my favorite quilting materials. Plus it's really warm, and lasts forever.

Jassy.....are you crazy? Me? Organized? I think I'm probably one of the most unorganized people there ever was. That's probably one of the reasons I jump from project to project. LOL Mr Lilly swears he can hear the gears turnin at night in my sleep.

I wasn't happy with the way the jeans looked.....thought they needed somethin else...so I worked on them a lil bit today. I don't think I'm thru yet. I wanted a pair of funky jeans....(that's exactly the word I used when I started thinkin about doin em when I googled. "Funky cowgirl jeans") No I didn't find anything like these....but my gears was turnin as I searched and this is what I came up with LOL
So here's what they look like today.
