What are y'all combining? Sunflowers?
How is it going? Are y'all about done?
Are you getting plenty to the acre?
Is the price holding?

Not yet bama........ Won't combine sunflowers till October..... Prices are up and the flowers look real good so far........
Just getting the combines cleaned up..... We will start chopping silage this week......
Actually these are pictures Carter took for his FFA record book as to what he does........ And lots of times it's on the end of a shovel or maintainace the less glamorus jobs.................
We are peddleing wheat like crazy...... We didnt't sell any last year as they were docking for protein..... Now with eight or nine dollar wheat it doesn't matter...........

Nice rigs Katrina. Wheat sure brightens up those header augers compared to grass seed. Ours will clean up half way through the season but not like yours. I hate cleaning combines. I still havn't washed mine off yet.

Here I thought Katrina was giving a shop repair lesson...

I am a terrible mechanic--don't know a widget from a gadget--so Even before the digital cameras came out I had a polaroid camera...Used to take a picture of the broke part and the area before I tore into it-- could take the picture (sometimes along with the broke part) to the implement dealer to make sure I got the right thing-- then also look at the picture to see that I got all the chains and belts back together right again...

Wheats up ,up, up, up Katrina- be $10 before you know it

I see feed barley is close to $9 cwt-- malting barley over $10....

Folks are speculating about next year--seeing lot more tractors in the field seeding winter wheat already...

I just finished cleaning the cab of the 4WD tractor. I'm about the only one that runs that tractor. Wow, coffee spilled all over and I couldn't stand the smell of stale smoke, of course that is my fault with the bad habit. Now I'm anxious to get that tractor rolling. Ready to combine high moisture corn today. Everyone have a safe harvest.

two years worth of wheat, and 9 dollar wheat, sure sounds like you may need to float an old Kansas boy a loan so he can keep his family fed..... we is poor down here !
