I hate those low ones. Seems like I'm on the flyway between sac Omaha and McConnell. Always seem to fly over the firat time ya slip up on a new colt, but usually the colt doesn't know which way to buck.

Holy cow! Talk about getting buzzed! We have a neighbour who likes to do the same with us, but he only has an ultralight. Still scares the crap out of you when he comes from behind! Can't imagine what it'd be like with that behemoth.

awake and needing new undershorts!!!!!!!!

I recieved the pic from a buddy....... said it was a real eye opener.

we get the stealth bombers and the f-16s out of Omaha every now and then. used to get the b 52s on a regular basis, but now the blackhawks are our only regular fly overs.

Most of the only flyovers we get are crop dusters but we have had two memorableones.

1) 9/11/2001 Air Fore On and escorts flew overheardheading back to Washington. It wasvery, very eiry./

2) Regeans last flight... His hometown is not 30 miles from here and te gentlema who usd to own ths farm actally attend school with him way back when.

Besides that we get the occasional blackhawk or cargo plane but those are far and few between....

Flyby experiences:

1. A local was a Marine Corps pilot flying Phantoms. On one of his cross country trips he came down low to say hi to the town and his parents. I was driving an open platform Hesston windrower and he came up from behind me, about 30 feet to my left, waved and grinned as he went by. He called me that night to say hi, I informed him he owed me a new pair of blue jeans as mine were now brown. Those suckers really make a noise that close and at 350 kts.

2. Driving to Las Cruces on the road north of Tularosa near Three Rivers I saw what I thought was a truck coming my way. A few seconds later it was a fighter 30' off the deck, upside down, with the pilot waving at me.

3. The Colo. Nat. Guard F16s fly low and fast through our area once in a while. One came close enough to me to rock the pickup a few years ago.

4. When driving highway 10 from Walsenburg to La Junta you see C130s, B52s, C119s, flying low and fast in training runs. Not as much as they used to since one found a hill a few years ago.

B1s use to train over us a few years ago. While refueling someone got a little to close and ripped into one. Both aircraft landed safely. They alarted the public to take any parts found and call the sherrif Neighbor found the black box in his wheat field. I found large chunks of fusealge while farming. For three days the area was crawling with Airforce personal.
