All gone now, but we used log bolts on the poles so it would have been easy to take down and put back up somewhere else. Sue and I did this a couple years before we moved.

I had to repair/rebuild the corral after we moved here. When we were looking at the place our realtor said he had loaded cattle out in corrals in worse shape. My thought was you were working with gentle cows and moving very very slowly. No before pictures.

Two of the bigger pens in the corral system had loafing sheds. Both is a state of disrepair. I didn't take any before pictures of the one I rebuilt first. It was in worse shape than this one. Van Gogh (AKA my wife Edna) went through 25 or 30 gallons of red barn paint between the barn and the two loafing sheds.
Here is a couple of pictures of the other loafing shed taken today. You will note the carefully matched colors of the used tin on the roof. Also the carefully matched boards on the wall. The rafters were the only new material used. The rest was what I had on hand. Maybe what I found laying on the ground. When painting this the wife said it was like putting lip stick on a pig.
The people bought from didn't bother to fix this shed. They just hung mesh panels across the front of it to prevent their critters from walking out the back wall which was mostly on the ground.

Van Gogh hard at work on the barn. She has painted both loafing sheds, the barn, the chicken house, the wood shed (old model T garage), the dog, and the down stairs interior of the house (2 or 3 times). She is threatening to paint the garage. But the power lines to the house come from the pole to the peak of the front of the garage and out the peak in the back. She hasn't figured out how to paint around them without electrocuting herself.

We put up a new holding pen this year. My idea, Debbie was foreman for crew of four. Excavator dug the holes.

We had a great young fella that worked for us in summer for many years. He started when he was 14, didn't even have a driver's license. He continued during summers all through college. He was the best help we ever had, and we have had some good young guys work for us through the years.
We put tin on the bull barn that we turned into a shop. It was a wooden barn but was weathering so needed an update. After the tin was in place, we had him paint the trim. We had to leave so he stayed working on the shop. He was up on the loader painting the trim under the eaves. The electric lines were right where he was painting. When we got home, he was nowhere to be found. The only evidence he was there was a great big paint glob on the new tin on the building.
You guessed it. He touched a wire with the paintbrush and got a good shock out of it.
We were just glad he was okay. It has made a good conversation through the years though.

Hey Webfoot I can see why you used an excavator to dig those holes. Did you have to import dirt to tamp the ties? lol

Everyone has been busy building corrals and barns and with painting projects. Thought I'd show ya all my projects. Oh wait, I'm a lazy cuss and haven't done a dang thing, so never mind. 
Things look good at your places though.

Where I really messed up is I should have run that rock and gravel over a sloughs of some sort to catch the gold. The river, a 100 feet away, was the site of a gold rush back in the 1800's. My place was never mined. They were making too much money raising food to feed the miners. I did find a couple rocks that wouldn't fit into a 20 inch bucket.
