mean and ugly but this is the 2nd year in a row she's had twins

14 year old cow had triplets two years ago

If only she could ask for minority rights

Cattle look to be in fine shape is your mean and ugly cow raiseing both calves?

You know what impresses me? Is the fact that you can remember their registerd names...and know their calf history too. It's the same around here though, the guys can tell you pretty much the life history of each cow...(little over a 1000), and I still go to all the work of putting the info in the computer...go figure? Thanks for posting the pictures.

Good looking cattle.They will have green grass soon. Supposed to be 50 here today so that should take care of most of the snow. Be a muddy one as the frost is almost 6 feet deep this year

Thanks Soap, but did you ever notice that those twins usually come when you're almost too busy to deal with them? But when you need an extra calf I geuss it's a good thing.

Last year she did, and so far is this year. Will probably just leave them on her and rob one if we use up the other couple of bums that are on the bottle already. I pitty whoever has to steel one of her calfs if she catches 'em.

Aww shucks Your guys probably have a better memory than I do, I have to check the tags of the dams out of AI sires to make sure I don't make a mistake....just like I couldn't remember the names of all the people in town if my life depended on it....but I might be able to tell you who most of 'em are out of.

I'm especially impressed by the 14 year old cow. She sure doesn't appear to be showing her age. And the Calculator daughter looks impressive too!!
